The Borough of Boyertown's Water Treatment Plant is located on Powder Mill Hollow Road, in Earl Township, Berks County. The design capacity of the plant is 2,000,000 GD. The plant obtains water from two reservoirs, the Popodickon Dam and the Trout Run Dam. A third approved, but seldom used source of water, is the Ironstone Creek. The Borough holds a surface water withdrawal allocation of 2 million gallons per day, which is regulated by the Delaware River Basin Commission.

Daily operation and maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant and distribution system is contracted to Inframark, LLC. The Project Manager is Ralph Schoenly and the Water Plant Supervisor is Alex Eidle.

The Borough of Boyertown's Wastewater Treatment Plant is located on Bartman Avenue, in Douglass Township Montgomery County. The Plant's design capacity is 750,000 GD, the receiving stream is Swamp Creek.

Daily operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and distribution system is contracted to Inframark, LLC. The Project Manager is Ralph Schoenly.
