Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue is a volunteer fire company serving the Borough of Boyertown, Colebrookdale Township and the northern half of Douglass Township, Berks County. The service area is approximately 17 square miles with an estimated population of 10,400.
BAF&R is supported by the Legacy Fire Companies (Friendship Hook & Ladder, Keystone Steam, and Liberty), as well as the Borough of Boyertown, Colebrookdale Township and Douglass Township, Berks County. BAF&R also undertakes fundraising activities and accepts donations to assist in the support of the fire and rescue service.
