Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of streets, alleys, storm water collection system, municipal parking lots, and maintenance of Borough parks. 

The Department is staffed with three full time employees who work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

Road mileage in the Borough is 12.66, of which 10.75, is Borough owned and 1.91 is State owned.

The following streets are State owned:

• West and East Philadelphia Avenue
• North and South Reading Avenue
