Cooking Matters: Knife Skills & Food Safety

Hosted by Boyertown Community Library, adults 18+.  Learn the basics of knife skills: safety, sharpening, how to chop, how to dice and basic food safety: such subjects as avoiding cross contamination, how to stock a fridge to avoid contamination, safe food temperatures, etc. Participants should bring their own knives, including a chef’s knife, bread knife, small santoku knife if available.
