Borough Council and Mayor
Borough Council meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to consider recommendations made by boards, committees, commissions, and matters brought to their attention by the Borough Manager. Members of Council are elected to a four-year term. They are responsible for approval of ordinances, resolutions, budgets, public works, public utilities, code enforcement and zoning matters.
The Mayor is elected to a four-year term and cannot be a member of Council. The Mayor does not preside over or vote at any meetings of Council except to break a tie vote. The Mayor may administers oaths and affirmations in matters pertaining to Borough Affairs.
